My Lolo Jose passed away last Monday and he was 97 years old. He is my lola’s sister’s husband and I remember him to be quiet but very helpful specially in times of need. He was asleep that afternoon when they found out that he is already gone, what a peaceful way to go. We will surely miss him but we are also happy that he is now reunited with Lola Broni and is now not hurting from all the pains that sickness and old age has on him. You have a very well lived life Lolo Jose and that is something to be thankful for, Thank You God for giving us Lolo Jose.

My daughter is on her 3rd grade and as part of my cost cutting plan I excluded getting a tutor for her this year and of course to also help her do the things on her own but once in a while I get to teach her about mathematics and reading etc but I first let her answer it all then thought her the right answer after if there is some correction to be done. But I hope this teaching school stuff would not last until high school because I think I need to learn more about algebra and trigonometry by then.

It is so western to have a fireplace at home but I cannot imagine an outdoor fireplace well maybe that is a bonfire or something but heat I think is not needed anymore in Tagaytay and or in Baguio because the temperature is not the same anymore, it is kinda hot already. Maybe that is why you do not have to bring those jackets or wear layered clothes because you can get away with a spaghetti strap and you would not get chilled or even cold, that is what you call global warming!

I thought I was pregnant but I am not and it is also a relief that after being sick and having amoxicillin for 7 days might cause something bad for the baby if I were preggy but thank God I was not but still I am hoping for a baby soon because I am getting old already and I want a brother for my daughter but in God’s perfect time I am sure it will happen so no need to take prenexa for now because we are still working it out!
