Cyna Rodriguez: Pinay Golfer in the US
A pinay is making a name in the US college golf circuit. She won the Mission Inn Open in Howey in the Hills Florida, her name is Cyna Rodriguez.
She did a solid three under par 69, she banked to a 10-stroke victory over comrade Mia Piccio and Catherine O’Donnell.
She also won second in the Tampa Bay Open last September and shared the third spot World Woods Rolling Oaks Open ruled by Piccio last October.
She says..
I felt so good with my game the whole week. It’s a nice feeling to get my first win
Cyna is a former Junior World champion, her first after her two top three achievement in the Laura Diaz’s Future Collegians World Tour.
This 16 year old veteran of the World Amateurs and Asian Games accomplished the 54 hole tournament with a 213 that included a pair of 72s at the Las Colinas course as she gained an exemption to the National Championship and a nomination to the Future Collegians World Tour All American Team.
Its nice to see pinoys and pinays making names all over the world. Even without enough support from our government, we manage to excel in every field of endevours we are in, patient enough to survive all the obstacles that comes along with it and win despite of everything. Proud to be Pinoy!

dapat di ko tinigil ang golf noon. sayang. di ko naman kasi alam na mag bo-boom ang golf ng ganito! sayang talaga!
wala kasi akong patience for the game, at yun ang isang importante sa golf. imagine, papaluin mo na malakas yung bola tapos hahabulin mo rin!?! LOL
