G2 BLAST:Terrorist Attack or a COVER UP?
News Update. A big bang hit Glorietta 2 in Ayala Center, yesterday afternoon around 1:30pm. The said explosion was first diagnosed by the police to an LPG Tank coming from either the Peking Garden Restaurant or the Luk Yuen Noodle House, and later confirms that the crowded shopping mall was hit by a bomb. As of the last counting there are 9 dead and 113 injured.

The explosion caused a huge damage throughout the Glorietta 2, toppled roofs and walls, and fallen debris and metal scraps crashing onto cars outside the shopping mall. The photos show the extent of the damages caused by the blast, ripping the ground level way up to the roof of the area. The blast triggers other countries to issue a travel advisory giving warning to their nationals against terror threats in the Philippines, like US, UK and Canada.
Authorities says, it’s a possible terrorist attack. A powerful explosive like C4 were recovered by the police investigator from the debris in the area. They said, that the bomb appeared to have been left near a cellphone repair shop under the escalator.
PGMA called for an emergency meeting yesterday and ordered the implementation of strict security measures.
“This is a time for all of us to unite. Sana ay maunawaan ng ating mga kababayan ang mga pag-iingat na ating isinasagawa. Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat (I hope our countrymen understand the measures we are implementing. Thank you),” PGMA said.
After the meeting, PGMA went to the victims confined at the Makati Medical Center. Six out of the nine people reported killed in the bombing was identified earlier by the authorities. David Enriquez, Janine Marcos, Allan Sy dela Cruz, Lester Peregrina, Anthony Arroyo, and Ceasar Nino Vidane and the remains of 2 woman still unidentified. There are also reports on missing persons namely, Carolina Sibug, Jay Arguelles, Lenlen Tan and Maureen de Leon. The latest body recovered around 2am today, in the blast area under the escalator was of Rainer Tan. Other victims can be located at Makati Medical Center, Ospital ng Makati and Ospital ng Pembo. I Say. In the midst of all the controversies of the Arroyo government, the NBN deal, the bribery, the malversation of funds, the expose of father Ed, the clamor for impeachment, and etc, a tragedy like this would happen? is it really a terrorist attack or just a plain cover up? Aren’t those people doing this things, ashamed of themselves that instead of helping our country progress, solving the issues on the proper forum, and etc, you would resort to a tragedy? What kind of a country we have if all we can do is to kill our people, INNOCENT PEOPLE! Aren’t you sorry for the lives lost with this mere hate for the government or to cover up issues. Are you still HUMAN? How can you afford to say that we have to be united, that you are talking peace, that you are all doing good for the country, if you are killing people who is also suffering the same poverty and misfortune our country is in to. Do you think doing such a terrorist act can save a country? or can save YOU!? yes YOU! Saving your own agenda. Yeah you know what are your real intentions on doing this and I say this tragedy is not for all of US, you aren’t fighting for us, because you killed some of US! this is only for your own glory. I am angry for the family who have their relatives perished by the incident. I feel sorry for the people who did this, you can never say you win because you didn’t play it fair. This are innocent people and not the ones who debted you. As they say history repeats itself so whats next? Martial Law? I am still hoping I am wrong, I am still hoping justice for the innocent lives lost and for the 113 people injured, I am still hoping for a good government, I am hoping for the real culprit to be jailed, and not just another fall guy. Let us pray for the victims, let us pray for the killers, let us pray for our safety, let us pray for our government and let us all pray for our country. ![]()

i would definitely say this is a cover up. it’s such a coincidence for this big blast to happen during such a crucial time of investigating about the money that Malacañang has distributed to their allies in the congress to submit the next to invalid impeachment complaint before the opposition could file the much stronger complaint. And of course, Gloria will have to connive with the Ayala’s with the assurance that the malls and their properties would continue to receive the protection, that’s what her appearance in the mall after the incident was all about. And besides how could they possibly explain the bomb debris found in the site?(as initially reported). Then of course they came up with other more scientific explanations, and put the blame to the sh*t deep down under. haaay sabi ko na nga ba, tao pinaguusapan, tae ang kalalabasan.
