Charice Pempengco Sang A Duet With Andrea Bocelli
Our kababayan Charice Pempengco was personally handpicked by the world renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli at an event in a small rural town in Volterra Valley, Italy on their Third Edition of the Teatro del Silenzio at a natural amphitheater between the rolling hills of Lajatico last July 20. They sang “The Prayer” and was very well received by the crowd and was given a standing ovation. Plus did you know that only Charice who sang with Andrea made headlines on the local newspaper and newscast the next day. Charice and Andrea’s first meeting was in a tribute event for David Foster in Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas.
Foster is one of the first who was impressed by our kababayan’s powerful singing voice after seeing Charice on the Ellen Degeneres Show and since then Foster made big plans for Charice. Foster is a well known composer for big artist such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, Michael Bublé and a lot more. Mabuhay Ka Charice!!! Proud to be Pinoy!!!

Magaling talaga si Charice and she deserves all of this success. Pero tama yung comment ng isang reader sa post ko (pareho kasi tayo ng post), dapat magkaroon na siya ng original song kasi she won’t really be successful sa int’l music scene kung puro covers lang ang gagawin niya.
