Oktoberfest bags two Guinness records
I am sure all Filipino beer drinkers knew about the Oktoberfest and this year is not just all about the beer. San Miguel Corporation just launched the supposed to be only a month long festival of beer but they turned it now to a 120 days of party. Two hundred bars were set up along San Miguel Avenue to St. Francis Square.
What good is a beer without entertainment and Oktoberfest also have that, this year Third Eye Blind along with forty rock band will perform during the happy hours. Not only that, did you know that they also bagged two Guinness records? First is the longest beer bar in the world, measuring 600 meter beating Taiwan with only 360 meters. Secondly is the 15,000 people simultaneously toasting for an event beating the previous record of 13,000.
I remember my first Oktoberfest participation is back in 2001, it is an Eyeball from a yahoo clan which me and my husband is a member. Back then it was only held at the Megamall’s Carpark and it is awesome, the crowd is really noise and you can hardly hear each other. I wonder what is right now, huhu too bad I hardly get a chance to party now.

I always wanted to go check out Oktoberfest. I really really, really like drinking beer and partying. Sounds like a blast.

Drove by at San Miguel Ave. this morning and my friend said that it was sooo traffic that day in that area due to the event and the redirection. Kaya pala…
