The $6,000 Contest from John Chow and XR.com
I have been wanting to help the needy people since when I was young but I never had a chance to give them an extravagant amount like what this contest is giving away. Thanks to John Chow for making such a noble contest to think more about the charitable institutions as well as the donor. Yes, John Chow is having a contest that will let us help and win at the same time, your chosen charity will receive $5000 plus $1000 for your own pocket. Isn’t it sweet?
To enter the contest, you need to sign up for an account at XR.com. Then you need to write a blog post about it. The post should link back to this contest, include the name of the charity you’re playing for, what you’ll do with the extra $1,000, and a review of XR.com
Now I am really amazed by a TV station, because even if they are just starting and kinda small compared to the giant TV networks here in the Philippines they are actually giving away a lot of free things for the poor Filipinos like Daily medical mission (Free consultation, minor surgery and medicines), Daily Free Fare for a bus ride (Northbound and Southbound), Daily Free MRT (Metro Rail Transit) ride for our Senior Citizens, Daily Job Fair, Daily Free Legal Consultation, Free Transient Home Use and making wishes come true via their segment Munting Pangarap (Small Dreams). All this good deeds can be seen in their morning program GMK (which I started to watched since Yuga guested there), it airs 4:45am-9am and can also be seen live in their webcast at UNTVweb.com. I have chosen UNTV37 as my charity of choice because you can see where your money will go and as for my $1000 it will be a part of my small dream to have a car, LOL! I am still saving for it and hope I can save more 
By the way all this wouldn’t be possible without the help of XR.com, it is a tiny url service that makes our usually long URL cut short to at least 10 characters when we get to post it on Facebook, Twitter, Plurk and a like and this are all for free and is easy to manage. All you have to do is enter the Url you want to shorten and they’ll give you a short redirected url.
